ServiceNow redefines its platform as the "AI agent of agents" with a unified "Otto" experience and a $30B revenue target by 2030

At its Knowledge 2026 event, ServiceNow positioned itself as the "AI Control Tower for Business Reinvention," introducing a unified platform built on four pillars: Sense, Decide, Act, and Secure. The centerpiece is ServiceNow Otto, a unified AI experience combining conversational AI, autonomous workflows, and enterprise search, designed to turn intent into outcomes across every system. The company announced that its AI portfolio crossed $1 billion in Annual Contract Value (ACV) in Q2 2026 and set a strategic target of over $30 billion in subscription revenue by 2030, with AI expected to contribute more than 30% of ACV. The platform now governs the entire AI lifecycle, integrating context, execution, and security for any agent or model across any cloud.

July 2026 Now Assist update introduces in-form resolution and shifts default ITSM models to smaller third-party options

The July 2026 update for ServiceNow Now Assist brings "in-form resolution," allowing the AI to classify intent and suggest a resolution while an employee is still filling out a form, before a ticket is even created. It also adds device remediation capabilities for Intune and Jamf, triggered directly from incidents, tasks, and changes. A significant change is the shift in default models for ITSM skills from Now LLM to selected smaller third-party models, with larger models now requiring approval. The update also sees the retirement of "Suggested Steps" and the "Incident Assist skill" in favor of newer AI-driven recommendations.
