An independent AI lab that runs its own models.
Every machine in the lab is named for a star. This is Orion, the NVIDIA cluster, the way it looks from here.

The cluster
The belt is three of the cluster's five RPC workers. With the two shoulders and a coordinator over in Canis Major, they pool 16 GPUs and about 150 GB of VRAM across a 40 gigabit RDMA fabric.
Rigel · Orion's foot
Fast chat
Rigel is the main workstation, two RTX 3090s. It handles the quick answers while the cluster does the heavy lifting.

The AMD fleet
The other half of the lab runs Radeon cards over Vulkan: agent brains, image generation, vision and structured JSON.
Crux
Acrux
The brightest star of the real Southern Cross, the one the False Cross gets mistaken for. It runs the third agent brain.

Back on Earth
Whole again
From here the stars line back up into Orion. Every star is a machine in the lab, the same twenty stars as the front page. Positions come from the Hipparcos catalog; distances are rounded from published measurements, and a few supergiant distances are still debated.
